During the election campaign Stockton Council is not able by law to have the Mayor's blog on its website.  To make sure that people can still see what has happened over the last year the Mayor has transferred the text to this site.  After the election normal service will be resumed on www.stockton.gov.uk

Suzanne Fletcher says: "The Mayor's blog was started in April 2006 as the first blog by a Mayor of a principle Council, so as to let people have an idea as to what actually happened in the life of a Mayor.

During the election period the blog on this site will mainly concentrate on activities in my Mayoral capacity, and not on the rest of the day.
